Reverend Reid is a native New York, born and raised in a little town called Inwood. 

Reverend Reid is the youngest of 4, the daughter of the late Eloise Reid and the late Patrick Ferrar, the goddaughter of the late Eddie Lee Barkley and Roxie Barkley and the proud mother of Jaleel Malik Johnson and Jamari Makayla Johnson.

She earned her BBA – bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Strayer University in 2008. She earned my MS – Masters in Science in General Counseling Studies from Capella University in 2011, I earned my Ed.S – Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University in 2014 and went on to complete another Masters in Science in Theological Studies with a concentration in Biblical Studies in 2017. She received her preacher’s license on October 11, 2014. She was ordained a Deacon in the CME Church, August 2018 and later voted to the office of ordained Elder in August 2020.

Reverend Reid currently serves as Church Secretary, Director Liaison on the Board of Christian Education and Formation, Sunday School teacher, Choir & Praise Team Member.

My favorite scripture:  Philippians 4:11 – 13 with special emphasis on verses 11, “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”
