Reverend Greene is the daughter of the late Melvin Wilson and Mrs. Johnnie & Joe B. Hoyle. She is the second of seven children.

Reverend Greene is a graduate of A.L. Brown High School, Kannapolis, North Carolina, and Class of 1975.

She has a certificate in Computerized Accounting –American Business and Fashion Institute, Charlotte, North Carolina, a graduate of Bishops’ School for Ministers of Carolina conference of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in 1996.  She holds a diploma for Teachers Aide (ICS) Scranton, PA, May 1997 and she also graduated from Livingstone College, Salisbury, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – May 2003.

Reverend Greene was admitted on trial in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in  July 1994; ordained traveling deacon, July 1996 and ordained a Traveling Elder in July 2003.  She was admitted into Full Connection in July 2008, currently serves as Commission on Membership and Evangelism, Liaison.

She pastored Thompson Chapel CME Church, Lexington, NC (2001-2003) as well as Bethel CME Church, Blacksburg, SC (2018-2019).

She has been married to Mr. Willie J, Greene for 38 years and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Her current occupation is Teachers Associate with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Afterschool Department at Croft Elementary School.

Her favorite scripture is Psalm 121.
